Chapter 232 by Johnrocker Johnrocker

How do they get out of this?

Help Katie out

As Leroy returned, straight away Winter excused herself and Mark from the table to Katie’s annoyance.

She looked disappointed that they had bailed on her. With a full cocktail in her hand, she couldn’t really leave right now. Katie watched with big puppy dog eyes as her sister and Mark abandoned her at the bar alone with this guy.

“Sorry if you wanted to stay there longer, I just get really bad vibes from him,” Winter said as they returned back to their apartment rooms.

“Nah that’s cool, I didn’t mind,” Mark said, “I do feel bad for Katie though.”

“Why? It’s her fault, she wanted free drinks, now she has to listen to him for a bit longer.”

Winter was right, her sister was leading this guy on for free drinks. But there was a lot of mystery about this man, what if he wasn’t going to take no for an answer now that he’s got a foot in the door.

“Yeah I get that,” Mark said, “But I don’t trust this guy either and what if he doesn’t let her leave, he’s paid for two of her drinks already. I’m just worried what he might do.”

Winter who was still standing with her handbag, stopped before entering her room. She was thinking about what he had just told her. The last thing she wanted was to have something terrible happen to her sister when there’s something she could do to stop it.

“Alright, you make a good point. But what do we do? Just go back and take her home,” she asked.

Mark thought about it for a second, thinking of a plan that wasn’t so obvious that he was just trying to pull her away from him. “I’ve got an idea, just follow me,” he said confidently.

So once again, back out they went. Mark felt a rise of power surge through him as the very hot Winter followed in his footsteps. As if he was some sort of Alpha male, being the hero to Katie, her knight and shining armour.

They reached the bar to see her still trapped in conversation. Confidently walking up to the table, Mark put his plan into place.

“Katie, sorry to interrupt here but your baby is crying back in the room, like non stop crying, think you need to go take care of it,” he told her.

The look on both of their faces was a moment he wish he could have captured. Leroy looked as if he was disgusted or something, not impressed that she had a child. It was something he wanted nothing to do with.

As for Katie, she was completely confused at first, mouth wide open, not sure what he was on about. She stuttered at first before finally realising what was going on.

A slight smirk curled on her lips, “Ohhh right, yep, i should be right up there now, it’s going to be a long night keeping him down,” she said. Katie turned to Leroy, “Thank you for the drinks, sorry I’ve got to run.”

He nodded, “Completely understand, good luck with the baby.”

Leroy vanished, leaving the area they were in. What a success, Mark thought to himself. Katie beamed at him before the three of them tried to control their laughter as they left the outside bar.

“That was brilliant!” Katie said, as soon as they were out of view from the bar.

“Quick thinking Mark,” Winter added, “He looked so disappointed.”

Mark loved that the two sisters were so impressed with his lie. He couldn’t help but smile as they re entered the apartment room. It was hard not to realise that Katie was being a bit touchy with him too, rubbing up against his arm as they walked o back to their room.

Katie pulled ahead and stopped at the front of the girls’ bedroom. She spun away and looked back at them, seductively leaning back against the bedroom door.

“So I noticed Mark didn’t end up in our room last night, we can’t have a repeat of that two nights in a row can we?” she posed the question, “Especially not on Christmas...”

The way she leaned up against the door was so sexy, her long straightened dark hair up the door frame, that flowing skirt revealing more and more thigh.

Winter took the lead, replying for the two of them herself, “You can bet your bottom dollar that he’s coming in here.”

She grabbed Mark by the hand and pulled him towards Katie and the door. As she got to Katie, she whispered in her ear, “But I’m in charge of him... not you.”

Mark could hear that and once again he was hardening in his pants.

Katie’s eyebrows rose by her younger sister’s comment. However, she still opened up the door and let Winter and Mark inside first.
