Help Cat with her pledge so that she can finish faster.

Cat shrugs. “Well, I don´t know what to tell you…”

You walk to the cheerleader and snatch the sponge back. “So, I´m going to help you finish this in a flash!”

“Really? You mean it?!”

“Yeah. Let´s do this before I change my mind.”

Cat jumps and squeals. “Yes! Let´s!” She drags you by the hand until you are in the thick of it. Cars and bikini-clad pledges as far as you can see. More wayward hoses immediately drench you from head to toe. You push your wet hair out of your eyes. Now you are one of them.

“All right, we only have to clean four more cars, starting with this Corolla!” Oh wow, that is a dirty car. Almost like it returned from a rally. You grab a hose and start working on it. You and Cat spray water all over the vehicle, mud dripping to the floor.

There is only so much you can do with a hose, and so it´s time to get close and personal. You bend over and began rubbing the car, Cat joins you on the other side of the trunk. The hood of the car is now sparkling clean, but the windows are another matter entirely. You can´t reach them from where you are, so you climb on the hood. With the cold and slippery metal under your chest, you raise your feet and try to stretch just a bit more.

“Damn, that´s quite the view, girl!”

You shake your head and try to resist the urge to throw your sponge at the peanut gallery. Instead, you channel that energy into furiously scrubbing the windows. More whistles and catcalls come your way, and you can feel your temperature rising. Wonder if Cat is doing any better?

You spare her a side glance to see that she dropped her sponge. With closed eyes and burning cheeks, she bends over to pick it up. A couple of familiar comments are thrown her way. Huh, at least she is sharing in your suffering.

“There. Fucking done.” Completely red-faced and wet, you toss the sponge in the bucket and take a break. The car is sparkling clean, it´s owner gives you a thumbs up before driving away. Well… that was tiring and humiliating, hopefully, you don´t have to touch a sponge ever again in your life.

“Great!” Cat congratulates you. “Only three more cars to go.”

You sigh, this was a bad idea.
