Selene scoffed, “I wouldn’t believe you, even if your life was at stake.”

She pulled down a set of purple tinted goggles and began to attach electrodes to Dago’s body. She gingerly took off his clothing the best she could, attaching more to his chest, arms, and legs. Dago was swearing indiscriminately, yelling and screaming, trying to get anyone’s attention that he could, but knowing Selene, her lab was probably soundproofed.

Selene flipped on a switch that had a couple of gauges attached to it, “Follow my instructions and I’ll consider letting you live, with some restrictions.”

Dago grit his teeth, unsure if he should try to cooperate or not. She only said there would be a chance he’d live through this if he did.
