"L, LEAVING!?" Chihiro parroted the phrase back at the boy in plain disbelief.

"Well, yeah. Have you ever seen our facilities? They kind of suck." The student laughed as if to lighten the mood, which clearly didn't work much on Chihiro.

"I, I wasn't told we would be... l, leaving..." She felt her voice reduce to a shaky whisper. This was bad.

"Oh, it'll be fun! It's just down the road at the train station. They set us up an outdoor stage and everything!"

An audible sound of a honking horn was the boy's catalyst to get a move on, so he began leading the way and reached for Chihiro's hand.

"Don't worry, you can't get lost, right?"

Chihiro couldn't believe this silliness. There was no way she could leave the school grounds!
