Head out to the party

I stepped out into the hall just as the girls turned the music on. My heart was beating a little bit faster as I walked towards the end of the hall and once I turned the corner I was met with a few light cheers from the new guests who obviously recognized me by reputation.

Most were girls, but there were two guys there, too. Almost everyone had a drink by now and luckily for me all the new girls were about the same level of attractiveness as Alice. Most were giving me smiles, some more intense than others. One girl off to the side was giving me a downright strange look.

I was interrupted by Ashley walking over and introducing me to everyone, giving them my name and explaining who I was. I said a quiet hello and got some more smiles back, then I headed for the kitchen and grabbed a drink.
