He turns her down

"Not now," Brian said, guilty about what he had done last night. The idea of kissing his wife so soon after cheating on her, even by accident, made him feel terrible.

"Why not?"

"I'm just... not in the mood." He turned and walked away, leaving her confused and upset. Not being in the mood for sex was one thing, but when had he not been in the mood to kiss her?

She looked out the window, and saw Nick and Jessie walking away. He was probably never "not in the mood" if the conversation she had overheard was anything to go by. If she had asked him to kiss her, he would have done it and blown her mind. If he was her husband, that is. He wouldn't do it when they were both married to someone else. Probably. He had seemed a little naughty.

Maybe if she had pulled him aside to ask for a kiss instead of her husband, he would have just done it. She imagined it now, Nick making out with her while their spouses chatted in another room, one hand on her back, the other squeezing her ass. She touched her fingers to her lips as she imagined it. Her other hand was slowly reaching between her legs when she remembered where she was, and chided herself.
