Chapter 4

Does he enjoy the pool?
He swims by himself
Tracy couldn't help but notice how hot it was under the Cancun sun as he made his way to the pool. The area was filled with music and laughing people, some folks sunbathing or just resting. Sunbathing looked nice, Tracy thought to himself. He located an empty chair he could use to place his towel and shoes as well as a place to do his own sunbathing after a bit of swimming.
Tracy walked toward the pool, noting that the heat rising from the ground was pretty painful without some kind of foot protection. Both the embarrassment he felt from the fit of his bathing suit, as well as the pain on his feet, encouraged him to move quickly to the pool. Tracy slipped into the refreshing water and sighed. He had forgotten how much he enjoyed swimming and cool water was a perfect reminder of the fun. He splashed about, did laps around the perimeter, and made use of the swim-up bar. He tried to talk to the other resort goers but no one would really engage him.
“Oh well. I'm here to relax not socialize,” he told himself but couldn't help feeling lonely.
Does he find someone to talk to?
