He stays

Resolved not to abandon Tommen, Bran doesn't budge. Nothing particularly smart or tough comes to mind, so he simply crosses your arms and matches Myrcella's glare.

"So!" She snaps, taking an accusatory step towards Bran. "Why are you still here! Get lost!"

"No," he replies, steadily and without malice. "Tommen is my friend and he told me to stay." Myrcella seems to soften a bit at that, her guarded posture dropping a bit. Tommen, meanwhile, is awestruck by Bran's commitment to him. He obviously is not used to having close friends.

"You seem suspiciously loyal to my brother. You've only properly known him for an hour." She sighs, taking a deep breath and running her hands through her golden curls. "But I guess I can trust my brother. You seem all right, for a northerner at least." While she definitely warms to him, her eyes show she does not trust him completely. Still, it's a start.

"Thank you," Tommen says, relieved things did not escalate. "Now can we sit down. I'm sure Bran is very confused."

Myrcella says nothing, simply nodding and walking around the bed. Bran sits back down on the side on the bed. Tommen practically jumps on the mattress, sitting cross-legged at the head of the bed. Myrcella gracefully takes a seat at the foot of the bed, facing away from the boys.

"So, what's going on?" Bran asks, his curiosity getting the better of him.

There's a pause before Tommen finally answers the question. "First, you have to understand what it's like in King's Landing. Joffrey has taken it upon himself to ruin our lives. He's a monster, constantly finding new ways to torture us. He pushes me around, threatens to skin Ser Pounce. Anything to make me miserable. And Myrcella..." He trails off, looking at his sister.

Myrcella still refuses to face her company. Even from his angle, though, Bran can see how vulnerable she is. She looks like she wants to curl up into a ball, her once confident voice now shaky and unsure. "Let's just say Joffrey has a particular hatred for women," she whispers, wrapping her arms around her torso.

"And Mother is no help," Tommen continues. "She simply can't see the evil in her little prince. I try not to blame her." Myrcella scoffs at that. Perhaps they don't see eye to eye on everything. "And well, we really didn't have anyone else to turn to. Mother doesn't let us meet many people our age, and Joffrey scares off any who come close. So, we relied on each other. We grew close. Perhaps closer than people think siblings should be."

"What are you saying?" Bran asks, slowly understanding where this was going.

Before Tommen could answer, Myrcella turned around. Her emerald eyes shoot a brief suspicious look at Bran before she crawls over to Tommen. Wrapping her arms around her brother's neck she draws him in for a kiss. Not a quick, polite kiss between siblings but a deep, passionate kiss. A kiss two lovers share after being apart for many moons. Tommen pulls her closer as the two lose themselves in the embrace. Bran just sits there, dumbstruck and unable to look away.

Breaking the kiss, Myrcella gives Tommen one more longing look before turning to face Bran. Her eyes are glistening with unreleased tears, her lips wet with her brother's saliva. Without words, she demands Bran say something.

Bran's mind is whirling. This had completely caught him off guard. The prince and princess were in love! What was going on? The very idea was scandalous beyond belief, yet it was happening right in front of him.

However, another thought begged entry to Bran's mind. If these two could make it work, surely he could seduce Sansa. The idea, always so far out of reach, now seemed more real than ever.

Bran couldn't just sit here with a dumb look on his face forever. Only seconds had passed, but they felt like hours. What could he say to Myrcella?
