He stalks off in anger

Your now ex-boyfriend looks back at you in disgust. "Fuck it!" he yells. "Fuck you, too, John! I don't need this bullshit!" He stalks off down the stairs without another word.

Meanwhile your new fuck friend comes back into the room. He looks down at you, his eyes full of remorse over what just happened. "I'm very sorry this happened. I feel like I took advantage of you now, and I shouldn't have."

You want to cry, but the tears don't want to fall. You know well enough you are as much to blame as the guy who took advantage of you. "It's all right," you finally say to him. "It's not entirely your fault. I was just as horny as you, and I was also mad at Mr. Superstud for passing out on me. I guess it was bound to end sooner or later. He cared more about partying than he did me, now that I look at it. Maybe you saved me from making a big mistake."

He sits down on the bed beside you, placing his hands on your shoulders in an effort to console you. "You know, I don't even know your name" he says. "Mine's Reggie, if you're interested to know."

You look up into his eyes. They're soft and gentle, and you can tell he cares. "Well, I'm sorry we met this way, but I guess there are stranger ways to meet people. My name is John" you tell him. You laugh a little, wondering if nice to meet you would be a good thing to say to him.

"What's so funny?" he asks.

"Oh, I was wondering if nice to meet you would be a good thing to say after what's happened. This definitely will change both our lives."

"I think you're right about that," he says. "I hope for the better. I really don't know what possessed me to do what I did. I'm usually very shy and reserved around girls. It's just that you looked so beautiful and irresistible as you... Well, you know what you were doing. I just felt you needed someone, and I felt like I was meant to be that someone."

There is something about Reggie. The way he came back, and didn't walk away from you says something. The way he tries to comfort you says something. That beastly hulk that was your boyfriend probably wouldn't have done that. "I think maybe this was meant to happen between us. I don't know where it will lead us, but I'm willing to find out if you are."

Reggie looks at you with a startled expression on his face. It kind of reminds you of a deer caught in the headlights. He says nothing for the longest time, though his hands are still on your shoulders and he doesn't move away from you. Then he opens his mouth to speak....
