What happens during training?
He meets Psylocke and lays the foundation for a future conquest.
Taylor held firm onto the shield as Scott shot his eyebeam at him. His telekinetic powers were amazing. Not to the level as his mind control powers, but close. The beam died away, revealing Scott’s form. His arms felt like jelly as they fell to his side. He breathed deeply as he regained his composure. That hadn’t been a full powered beam from Scott and yet he had only just managed to stop it.
“Well done, you're getting better at it.” Scott said, tapping his forehead. “It seems as if each time you are pushed to your limit, you get better. I think tomorrow you will be able to handle a lot more.”
“I hope so, I feel like I am about to die.” Taylor said, hands on his knees.
“Don’t feel down about your progress. Even though I am not using much strength in my beam you have come a long way in only a few days.” Scott said, glancing at the door. “Relax for a bit, I will see what Jean is up to.”
“Wasn’t there supposed to be someone else here?” Taylor asked, falling onto the floor in a heap. He was still annoyed at the fact that he couldn’t get to fuck Storm, he had turned up at the training ground and found only Scott waiting for him.
“Yeah, about that. I will see what’s up,” Scott said. He disappeared through the door, leaving Taylor alone in the field.
“Fuck,” Taylor said. His lungs were sore, but at least the normal sensations in his arms and hand had returned. He closed his eyes for a moment and stretched out his limbs on the floor. He felt another mind come closer to him, he assumed it was either Scott coming back again or Jean.
“So, you’re the new mutant Jean found.” said a cool, confident voice.
Taylor opened his eyes and found a woman standing over him. She wore a dark purple outfit, similar to a jumpsuit the X-men wore. But the side of her thighs and arms were mostly bare, except for a few thin purple straps.

“Who...who are you?” Taylor asked, more surprised then anything. She was beautiful, and carried an assuredness that he had only seen in Storm. Her mind was harder for him to figure out, she was curious about him, and bored. “I am Taylor, are you the person I was meant to meet?”
“Yes, my name is Psylocke.” Psylocke said, stepping back as Taylor stood. “Jean asked me to experiment with one of your powers.”
“Really?” Taylor couldn’t remember much of Psylocke and her powers from the comics. Wasn’t she a villain more often then not. He knew she had been in the X-men at some point.
“My sword is unique and may offer further insight into your powers.” Psylocke said. “You also have mental powers, like Jean?”
“No, more blocking abilities I think.” Taylor replied, shrugging. No one yet actually knew about his mind control abilities, the longer he kept them a secret the better.
“Perhaps that is another reason for why I am here, my abilities are partly mental as well.” Psylocke said. “But I feel like any other mutant could have helped you, the technology available here would have made it easy.”
Psyolocke gestured with her hands around her, a frown etched on her face. Annoyance and derision were the clear emotions in her mind, she thought she didn’t need to be here, babysitting a newbie.
Taylor grinned, while she had a point. He was just happy another superheroine was here. They were on an underground floor beneath the mansion, but it was as if they were on an open field without any building for miles around. The wonders of holographic technology.
Taylor made a decision. He reached in and forced down her annoyance and resentment. He needed her on his side after all, but he wanted to try something different this time. He had given either orders to someone or messed around with their emotions. This usually led to instant gratification, but he was still dubious of the long term effects. This time he planned a different way to control someone.
“Psylocke, I want you to listen to everything I have to say.” Taylor said, once he was sure her emotions were at the right level. ”You will not think anything I say or do is suspicious.”
“Very well,” Psylocke said. Her gaze became unfocused as his words and intent settled into her mind.
“Good,” Taylor said. He paused, trying to gather his own thoughts. He couldn’t do this blindly anymore, he needed to place some clear orders into her mind. They would be akin to chains, his claim on her mind and body. “You will always follow my orders and suggestions, but also try to make it as normal to everyone else as possible. You will never lie to me and lastly. You will protect me from any harm, both direct and indirect.”
“No harm will come to you, I swear it.” Psylocke said, narrowing her eyes.
Taylor grinned, things felt differently this time. He had raised her loyalty and admiration of him, along with a few other emotions. He was still learning about his powers, just like Scott had said. But now, he had ever more experience with his mind control powers, and he knew his orders had taken a firm root in her mind.
“Good, one last thing.” Taylor said, walking up to her and placing a kiss on her lips. “You will think I am incredibly handsome, more so then any other person you have ever met. This admiration and desire will only continue to grow the more we interact and even when we are separate. Do you understand?”
“Yes,” Psylocke said. She breathed deeply as she gazed up at him, blood rushing to her cheeks as her eyes widened. “I…”
Taylor pulled away from Psylocke as the doors to the training area opened and revealed Jean and Scott. He smiled at them before glancing at Psylocke, he would have more time to play with the brunette woman later.
