He is shocked

“Pregnant?” Kyle asks in surprise.

“Yeah.” I nod while trying to suppress my joy. After all, Kyle was originally not eager to get me pregnant. That’s why he went and got the condoms after all. I need to ease him into this.

“They test every female sex zombie for it.” I continue. “Apparently, I got myself preggers while I was a sex zombie.”

Kyle looks like he is dumbstruck. I guess that’s what he looks like when the wheels in his head are turning.

“Is it … mine?” He asks.

“You’re the only guy who ever had his dick in my vagina.” I tell him. “So, it can’t really be anybody else.”

Now Kyle’s expression turns to fear. I knew it. He needs time to accept this.

“But … you had already ovulated.”

“They said it on the news, Kyle.” I continue. “The disease can cause a second ovulation. The virus must have made me ovulate while I was a sex zombie.”

Kyle takes a deep breath and then walks over to the sofa where he takes a seat. I sit next to him and place my hands on his shoulders.

“It’s not your fault.” I say. “The disease made you do it. It made me do it. Don’t blame yourself.”

Kyle then takes a deep breath, looks at me and ask, “What are we going to tell your parents?”

“We will tell them the truth.” I lie. “We both got infected and the disease is to blame for me having your baby.”

Kyle agrees with me and then suggest we start by fixing up the house. We’ll probably think better about this after we had a good night’s rest.

We start with checking the animals for food. Apparently, my dad’s friend came over and fed the animals while we were away. At least the animals didn’t suffer. After that, we decide to clean the bedrooms.

The first one we’re cleaning is the room Kyle is staying in. That one’s the easiest. We open up the window so the room can air out. Then we wash the bedsheets. While those are drying, we each have a phone call with our parents.

Both of my parents are very happy to see me. They ask me how it was to be a sex zombie, but honestly, all I can tell them is my memory is pretty hazy about the whole experience. I guess my brain was just focused on other things than recording memories.

With that out of the way, I decide to tell my parents the big news. They are shocked and especially my father is angry. But I tell him that if he was home instead of Kyle, I would be pregnant with his baby. Dad has to walk away after that. The rest of the conversation is me explaining to my mom that neither of us had any control. That if Kyle had not been infected, I would still have been a sex zombie and the disease would have made me **** him. It will take time for both of them to understand. But at least they are stuck in another state while they come to terms with me having a baby.

After that, Kyle and I both go to bed. We are simply too exhausted for anything else. We place the sheets on and dress in our nightwear. For Kyle, it is his boxers. For me, it is a long t-shirt. Then we share the bed and fall asleep immediately.
