As Jeremy got up to the door it opened to reveal Courtney walking out of the house. She jumped a bit when she saw Jeremy standing at the front door, "OH! You...you scared me Jeremy. Standing there like a gargoyle."

Jeremy smiled a bit, as she didn't sound as sad as when he talked to her earlier. "It's not my fault you scare easily." he said with a smirk.

Courtney pouted, "I do not."

"Yes you do."

"Hmph. So...what are you doing here?"

"I have to get some stuff off..."

"Can it wait I'm going over to your aunt's house...wanna come? I need some advice and my mom said she'd be good for it."

"I...yeah sure. No problem. You're car or mine?"

"Well I don't think you can fit in my Mustang! And I want to drive it, so I guess we're going in separate cars. Bet you I'll beat you there."

"Oh come on, you have the last production 12 cylinder! It's not even a contest Courtney! And I can too fit in your car."

Courtney bit her lip then shrugged, "Split the gas?"

"As always." Jeremy said and took out his wallet and gave her a twenty. "Let's go."
