As he had completely taken on Link's personality, if he couldn't become Tawdry this time, he wanted to be with her. She was very, very attractive, he told Zelda. It largely had to do with her enormous breasts.

Zelda tried to think of a reason why this wouldn't work...but couldn't. Instead she merely shrugged and said, "Okay, if she's okay with that." Of course, she was. It didn't take long for Zelda to recreate everyone who had disappeared, and live in Hyrule went back to normal, with the exception of the addition of a new resident: Link's new girlfriend Tawdry. Their relationship ended up working very well, as they had both been Link, Tawdry, and Zelda before, and understood each other all too well. Zelda got fairly jealous, but whenever she felt the need she made a temporary clone who she turned into Link for fun little one-night stands.
