As you are waiting for your lunch to be brought out you look at Tommy. "So...Tommy, ixnay on what?"

Tommy smiles, "Bro, I've been sworn to secrecy on that matter. I would love to tell you, believe me, but I just can't."

"You're kidding right? Tell me you're kidding." You say incredulously.

"No dude, I'm serious. I can't tell you...Janice would kill me." He answers his face completely serious.

"Son of a...Fine. That's fine."

Tommy smiles apologetically, "I'm sorry, I really am. But it's not my place to tell you. Anyway, what are your plans for the rest of the day?"

"I was going to pick up Courtney and take her to that amusement park that opened up."

Tommy's face brightens, "Hey good idea. I'll tag along. Bring Jeremy along. He talks about her a lot. In a very confused voice. I think he has a crush on her."

"Normal five year old crush is a lot of teasing pinching and poking." You say with a grin.

"Yeah, much like what you used to do to Doe all the time."

Your face reddens, "Ahem, well...I guess."

The big man shakes his head, "No guessing about it bro. You pinched her, poked her, pulled her hair...gave her valentines day cards, never forgot her birthday..."

"Which is weird because it took me until high school to remember my mother's birthday. Caught a lot of grief over that."

"You know there was a pool involving you two."

"There was a what?"

"Yeah, about how long it would take for you two to get together. A lot of your girlfriends were in on the pool." He says smirking.

"WHAT?"

"Oh yeah. So far there's only three people left in the pool with a chance of winning."

"Who? And again...WHAT?" Your mouth is wide open and you have the feeling of someone in a near **** shock. "Who's still in the pool?"
