Nate decided to spend the evening at the sports bar. He could catch up on any highlights and sports news he missed throughout the week, eat some nachos and he might even run into some of his friends.
So, he drove himself to his local sports bar, O'Flanagans. He was a a regular there, and recognized a few of the patrons, if not by name, then at least by their faces. One of the patrons nodded to him and Nate nodded back; that was Jacko, he was a good guy. It was the middle of the week, so there was no football on, which meant the bar was fairly quiet. The TV's showed sports news, bloopers and highlights; mostly football, basketball and baseball, but there were some other things. One of the TV's was showing Golf, one was tuned to NASCAR and for some reason that Nate couldn't fathom, one of them was tuned to a Cricket match. He wasn't sure why anyone would want to watch that.
Nate plopped himself down at the bar and ordered a bowl of Nachos from the busty young bartender. He didn't recognize her, and he thought he knew just about all of the staff here. "This is only my second week on the job." She replied. Nate noticed she had a British accent. Awesome. He thought English accents were sexy. The only things sexier were girls with Australian accents.
