You're in class, it's as boring as ever, you wait for the time to advance and you think about Jessica, you wonder what she'll tell you, you hope Ashley didn't do anything but at the same time you secretly hope it is, it would be easier to fix than whatever else could be the problem. You sigh, why do you bother with her when she's not even part of your harem.

You slap yourself, what the fuck is wrong with you, she's your first real friend in years, you won't betray her just because you can.

The bell ring and you prepare your bag, you leave towards the back of the school but you stop while hearing a voice. Two to be more precise, It's Vera and Michael. You listen discreetly.

"I wasn't expecting you to change that much in two years... But you look good!"

"Yeah, I'm changing styles... I think I'm gonna dye my hair blonde." Vera says with excitement.

"Cool, as long as that's what you want." Michael sounds hesitant, understandable when you compare her to what she was mere days ago, you grin.

You hear your phone's ringtone, you turn it off instantly but it seems they still heard it, you run through the corridor while you're still out of sight, you don't want them to know you were spying.

After navigating through the school you finally arrive, Jessica is waiting for you, she's on her phone.

"H-hey Jessica, how're you doing?" you say.

"John." She looks at you a little surprised.

"Yeah? What's going on?" She sighs.

"Please stop." You're confused.

"Stop what?"

"Whatever you're doing." You start sweating.

"What are you talking about?" You try to play innocent.

"Come on John! Y-You know!" She shows you a USB key.

"I-I compiled every instance of weird things happening on the forum. It has all the posts documented with everyone's name on it." You start stressing out, what the fuck?

"I-I don't-"

"John! If you're innocent why are you so scared right now?" You don't know how to answer, she has proof, proof that you changed reality.

"Give me that!" You yell while jumping towards the key, she slaps you hard in the face but you don't stop, she's putting it as far from you as possible but you push her down and you grab it.

She pushes you and you get back on your feet, she has tears in her eyes, you traumatized her. But it's okay, now that she doesn't have any proof you're okay.

"I knew it was you... But it still hurts to be right..." She starts crying and you find yourself hopeless, you try to come closer but she yells for you to stay back. When she finally stands up, her face is still wet, she looks at you with deception.

"You monster! I should've never talked to you in the first place. This wouldn't have happened, it's my fault..." She tries to dry her face with her arm.

"Jessica, I-I'm sorry... I..." She turns around, she leaves and you find yourself alone, USB key in hand.

You sit down and you lay against the building, you close your eyes for a while and try to calm down. You just lost a friend, you could add her to your harem but when you think back to her face full of tears you can't bring yourself to brainwash her like that.

You stay like that for a while, questioning your choices.
