Hat Trick

At midnight in Gotham City, security guards working at a museum were alerted by a sound of broken glass. Checking out the area where it happened, two guards saw Jervis Tetch, a former curator of the mystical history department, dressed as a magician, stealing a distinctive top hat. and jewel.

“Put those down, Tetch!” A guard ordered.

Jervis attaches the sapphire jewel to the front of the top hat and places it on his head. “Fools, with this hat of Houdini and jewel of Kotkin, you can’t touch me.”

The second guard rushes Jervis, planning to tackle him. But instead, he phases through Jervis and crashes into a display.

This Jervis vanishes revealing that Jervis was miles away “Presenting, the Mad Hatter!” Jervis bows and runs into the night laughing away.
