Harely Quinn to save the day.

Harley Quinn used to be the sidekick to her lover the mysterious Joker, the laughing hero of Gotham City whose chilling cackle would send evildoers fleeing. Since they had a falling out, however, she worked alone in her battle against the Batman Syndicate, only occasionally teaming up with the mysterious Poison Ivy. Tonight she was stalking the Huntress and as the assassin made her move, Harley came smashing through the window and tackled the reporter to the ground.

The crossbow bolt thudded into the wall even as Harley tumbled up to her feet and shoved her body into Huntresses in a smashing tackle. CRASH! Selina's good china went flying and smashed onto the floor. Screams erupted from the guests as Huntress and Harley began to struggle:

"Hiya, Hunty!" Harley taunted, kicking her sideways in the stomach.

"Quinn! You meddler. How is it that you always show up?" shouted the Huntress angrily, whipping throwing knives between her fingers and unleashing them at the bounding heroine, who somersaulted out of the way.

"I just look in the phone book under 'Maniacs, Crossbow-Wielding'." she teased. Huntress saw red and charged at her, but Harley was ready for her, stepped aside and hit her with a double-fist slam on the back of the head, sending her sprawling.

Harley hadn't been touched and the Huntress was on the ropes. Quin cocked her hip and put her hand on it. "Want some more?" she teased.

Huntress rolled over to reveal a live grenade she'd taken from her utility belt. "We finish this tonight, clown!" "Ack!" Harley said as the Huntress threw the grenade down and dived out the window. She couldn't both pursue AND save the innocent people. She dived fluidly for the grenade and with a hard kick of her high-heeled black boots, kicked it across into Selina's rooftop pool, where it exploded with a KWHOOOMFPLSSSSSH that sent a fountain of water geyser into the air.

Everyone was stunned from the sudden onslaught of **** but it was slowly becoming clear that everyone was all right.

"Th...thank you, Miss Quinn." Selina said, pretending to fumble for her words.

"Just doing my part." said the shapely white-face-painted woman. "Yipes, look at the time. I've got a mousse in the oven, and..."

Although the rest of the party was winding down in a shell-shocked way, Harley's exit line was cut short by...
