Growing area

Nora was funnelled into a narrow tunnel which led to a first of seemingly many growing areas. She figured they were the Morlok's farms, but they weren't like the sorts of farms she was used to. They reminded her more of the old Native American style of growing, where multiple types of plants that complimented each other grew on the same patches of soil. Mud was channeled into the gouged out stone, and from this mud grew an almost jungle like flora. Vines crept along the ground, growing the strange blue glowing fruit she saw earlier. They snaked around the banana bush like stalks, which grew almost a metre tall. On theses stalks climbed polyp covered tentacles, branching off occasionally into split ends on which tiny white berries hung like blue-bells. Nora examined each of the plants in wonderment, almost to the point where she reached out and tried to sample some of these 'fruits', but she stopped herself. There was no telling if they were poisonous, or if they were even toxic to the touch. She decided after a few brief touches that they were safe to handle at the very least.

If there were any Morloks here, she didn't see them. The area had tunnels leading East, South, and West.
