Grodd's plan

Grodd mentally slipped from each of the African women, seeing the blonde Power Girl through their eyes and their minds. It can as no surprise to him that the cousin of Superman fired the blood of the three Amazons. Yes, Grodd decided, Power Girl would suit his plans very well indeed.

For many years, Grodd had tried to take his rightful place, as he saw it, as ruler of the world. Beneath him would be his own kind - the gorillas - loyal and worshipful of his reign, as they ought to be, and beneath them the human race as slaves.

Despite his supreme intelligence and vast mental powers, Grodd had failed time and again to conquer the world. Now he had a new strategy. Now he would use a power he'd heard his conquerors boast of as he had fled. A power, they claimed, far greater than any other!

Grodd spoke into a microphone to instruct one of his many slaves buried somewhere in the bowels of his fortress.

"Increase the temperature one degree every half hour and the pheremonal extract by an extra twenty parts per million every two minutes until ordered otherwise."

He didn't wait for a reply; his order would be obeyed. There were signs from Power Girl that the rare African extract was already beginning to work and this was just the first of many he intended to use on her!

"Soon, soon, My ****," Grodd purred deep within his mighty throat, "you will return to your world, my future domain, and crush it under your heel in the name of Emperor Grodd!"

For Grodd's plan was to harness that **** that humans deemed almighty: the power of love!
