The date went well by your standards, inexperienced as you were. The movie Phoebe chose was some combination of Romantic-Comedy and Horror, the main couple of the movie had went to this mountain retreat only to get attacked by werewolves.

It had come out halfway through the movie that the inn they were staying at was owned by the girl's family and she was also a werewolf who had invited him up to the mountain with the intention of forcing him to join her pack. Naturally he'd rejected the woman's advances, and tried to escape for the latter half of the movie as you and Phoebe, as well as the other occupants of the theater, watched a group of drunken coeds, a park ranger, and even a wild black bear get mauled to **** by the hunting pack of werewolves.

It had come back around towards the end when the girl's father, brother, maybe uncle, you had trouble telling the wolves apart, had cornered the man and tried to kill him so he couldn't spread their secret, only for the she-wolf to jump in and fight him off so the man could escape. She'd gotten pretty badly torn up in the fight only for the man to join the fight as well, turning into ANOTHER werewolf, apparently from a rival pack that had renounced the lifestyle and moved to the city.

The movie ended with the man having fought off the Alpha wolf, taking his eye out and literally ripping his ear off only to hold his girlfriend in his lap as she slowly bled out and died, and then he pulled out a gun and shot himself in the head, presumably, with a silver bullet as the sun rose over the horizon.

Personally, it was that great of a movie to you, and you didn't get where the Comedy aspect came from at all, but Phoebe seemed, no pun intended, over the moon about it, proclaiming it Romeo and Juliet with Werewolves!

After that, you'd went to eat at the little pizza place you'd spotted on your way to Phoebe's apartment and made small talk as you ate. You diverted most answers to her questions into half-truths such as mentioning you used to work in the medical field when we served in the military, or hinting that magic was real.

Phoebe on the other hand, mostly told you things you already knew like how she had two sisters, the eldest named Prue and the middle one named Piper, she told you what her favorite movie was, she even mentioned how she was unemployed and had no college degree to fall back on.

You'd even improvised an additional stop on your impromptu date, taking a quick taxi ride coupled with an entrance fee that got both of you on top of the Empire State Building as you watched the sunset.

Rather than take a taxi back to her apartment, you opted to walk continuing the small talk from the pizza place and although it took what felt like an hour to get back, you couldn't say you hadn't enjoyed your time together.

However, all great things must end eventually, and the date was finally winding down as you stood outside her door, staring into each other's eyes.

"Well, I had a lot of fun tonight. I hope we can do it again sometime?" Phoebe said and you couldn't help the smile that crossed your face.

"Oh, we will definitely being doing this again." You all but promised as Phoebe returned your smile.

The moment felt right so you closed the small distance between you and pressed your lips to hers, an electric current running down your spine. It was a rather chaste kiss, but seemed to more than serve its purpose as Phoebe pulled back, her eyes swimming with various emotions before settling on one.

"That was, wow, umm, would you like to come in for a glass of wine ?" Phoebe asked, opening her door behind her.

"I don't really drink wine." You instantly replied.

"That's okay, I don't either." Phoebe smirked as she began sliding one strap off of her shoulder, and you got the hint this time as you followed her into her apartment, shutting the door behind you.
