“Mom, what is that?” James asked.
His mom handed him the piece of paper that she had been looking at. It was a notice from the government.
“Dear Mr. James Jordan, due to the failure of paying mandatory bills and taxes and after repeated warnings given, we have ceased all assets listed as collateral. Failure to continue to pay will result in other measures including loss of water, electricity, and property. If you cannot fulfill the owed amount, you will be required to attend a hearing where an appropriate punishment will be determined in order to satisfy the debts owed. Signed, Governor Patrick Daniels.”
James’s eyes widened. “No no no… but… I don’t have any… c-clothes,” James said. “Mom, please you have to help me.”
“What do you owe?” His mom asked.
James looked and gulped as he saw the attached bill. “$200,000 total,” James said. “But I don’t have that kind of money to spend.”
His mom stared at him. “I’m not helping you pay that off. Are you kidding me? How did it even get that high?” His mom asked.
She snatched the bill from James and took a closer look at it. James squirmed as he stood there as she read the bill. “Most of this payment is recreational. You spent $200 on clothing? And another $200 on some supplements and cosmetics stuff. What are you buying?”
James’s eyes widened. He realized exactly what it was. “Uh…. it… it was penis enlargements,” James stammered. “They were supposed to make my… penis bigger…”
His mom’s eyes narrowed. “Well they certainly didn’t work, did they?”
James shook his head absolutely mortified. “I’m sorry… but please… I can’t… I can’t pay this…”
“Then it looks like you’ll be attending that hearing,” His mom said. “And until then, you’ll be naked. And yes, you will be attending school like that. I will make sure you do.”
James’s jaw dropped as his mom walked out of the house and left.
As she did his phone began going off. He looked down and gasped as his night just kept getting worse and worse.
