Got to get some equiptment.

Sarah got to the turbo lift at the same time as you. You pulled out your pistol and she did the same. Marines don’t carry their rifles while on patrol duty, no need, well usually. You looked over at Sarah you saw the steely determination most marines share before a serious mission. Looking at her gets you excited in more than one way.

When the lift stops, you and Sarah sprint out only to be knocked off your feet by a jolt by what you assume is ship to ship ordnance.

"Shit" you thought to yourself, "I can’t do anything if they destroy us from space."

You got to your feet first and helped Sarah up before finishing the rest of the trip to the marines barracks. Some of the marines are already fully equipped in tactical gear.

You went to your locker when you hear the comm. ring out, “all Marines intruder alert decks two and seven”

"Two and seven? Whoever these pirates are they know this ship because that’s the labs and bridge." you realized.

You quickly grabbed your equipment including your trusty energy rifle and two concussion grenades and made for the barracks door.

Being on deck four puts you in a quagmire, you could either go to the bridge and defend your captain, or you can go down to the labs (where Sarah is headed) and protect the reasons you’re out here in the first place.
