Jessica looked at her hand:

3 of Clubs

3 of Hearts

3 of Diamonds

"That should keep me from having the low hand again," Jessica thought to herself. She tossed the Jack & 10, picking up the Ace of Hearts & the 4 of Diamonds. When everyone else laid down their hands, Tony had the winning hand with a 10-high flush; Bev had the losing hand, with a pair of 2s.

Bev kicked off her open-toed shoes, & then lifted her leg, wiggling her toes. "If anyone hear has a foot fetish, I bet you're in Heaven now." Everyone around the table chuckled as Denise refilled everyone's wine glasses. Jessica was feeling a tad more relaxed as the mood around the table lightened.

Tony dealt out the cards for another round.
