Gomorrah, Mark 2.

She takes the elevator down with an older couple. The woman is watching the floor numbers and the man is checking out your ass. Nobody says anything, and soon you reach the lobby and she crosses the street. The brass key opens the lobby door and she heads inside, pushing the button for 'nine'. The ninth floor hall is empty and she goes to apartment 907.

The apartment can be described as elegant creepy. There are several fine-art paintings of female nudes on the walls, and while there's nothing directly obscene about the furniture it's all suggestive if you look at it from the right angle. On the coffee table, the legs of which may or may not be naked women, is a laptop with a porno movie running where a girl is sucking some guy's member.

Kennedy stops it with an "eew" and then freezes. Was that a sound from the bedroom?

Her brain processes it and says electric razor. She sneaks into the hall and peeks through the open bedroom door. It's not an electric razor, it's a vibrator. The girl using it looks about twelve. Kennedy backs away from the door too fast for the eye to follow.

I did not see that.

She's out the door in seconds, quietly closing it behind her.

What's wrong?

What's wrong? That girl is too young to be underage!

The last time I was on earth the rule was "old enough to bleed, old enough to breed." Of course, back then life expectancy was about twenty and the number one cause of **** for adult males was sabre-toothed tiger.

Her adrenaline's up again; you hope for some more panic jilling but instead she heads for the elevator. The door opens and a black woman looks up in surprise.

"Upside-down girl? What are you doing here?"
