We walked through campus, guided to our destination by the rhythmic thumping of the bass.

I cursed under my breath when I saw that the party had a bouncer. Getting bounced without even entering the party would definitely curtail my journalistic ambitions. Would they need to see a student ID? What if they carded me? I was legal of course, but my age would blow my cover.

I had taken precautions, of course. I've often been told that I have a young face, and the pigtails definitely added to the sense of innocence. But would it be enough...
