Chapter 70 by SilverSpectre006 SilverSpectre006

Making the drive back home, however...

Going in for a jog

Viola sighed, facepalming into the steering wheel. It had taken so looooong for her to finally get home, much longer than she anticipated. Stupid damn traffic, what should have been a twenty minute drive took close to an hour! An hour! Aaargh!

"The city life is the life for me!" She bellowed, mocking herself for wanting this. Still beats living in a town, I guess. Sitting up straight and turning the ignition off, she stepped out and locked the doors as she began walking over to her apartment complex. Well, Monday's were usually her short days when it came to work shifts anyways, but usually not this short. She had an idea of what to do at the moment, entering her building.

Viola took her time climbing the stairs up to her apartment room, entering it with the turn of a key. A sigh of relief escaped her lips as she casually tossed her purse to the side, landing comfortably on the sofa. Slipping her work shirt and skinny jeans off, she wiggled her body a bit before standing in front of her full body mirror. Viola smiled, making a few cute poses that accentuated her butt.

Plenty of squats and yoga stretches a day tend to pay off. Though it has been a while since she last took yoga. You know, maybe getting back into those classes could be something else to do. But where would I get the time to do that? Viola opened up her dresser and yanked out her favorite pair of yoga jeans, a dark violet hue with the right amount of stretch and comfort. Slipping on a loose sleeveless white T, she kneeled down and placed on her running shoes.

Actually, some classes at night wouldn't be so bad. Could do good for my figure, and keep my ass looking nice. It is after all my greatest asset. She tittered, fastening on her sneakers before making the descend back down the stairs. A few stretches on her legs before take off, as always. Work those thighs and calves now...

Viola paused, glancing over at the apartment complex next door. To think, when she first glanced at the building she was taken aback at how pressed together their windows were. What if my neighbor is some sort of stalker, what if he breaks in? What if he's a creep, or a murderer, or a creepy murderer? It brought a smile to her face, all those silly thoughts and yet here she is, glad she moved in and walked into him and Lauren.

Oh my god, I'm the creep!

Rolling her eyes, she bent forward pressing her hands against the sidewalk street getting ready. Then, take off! She proceeded down the sidewalk in a steady jogging speed, not too fast nor too slow, as she made her way down the familiar road. A few blocks to cross, a park to go through, and a nice bridge to jog over. Usually takes about an hour of jogging more or less. Nothing but a water canteen hanging off my waist to quench my thirst. Small break at the park just for a few swigs, but it's better not to break your pace to stay vibrant and going. Otherwise you'll find it way harder to breathe.

One hour later, and she made it back arriving at the apartment building yet again. On familiar grounds once more, a nice sheet of sweat on her forehead. Oof, definitely need to wash out my hair to keep the red looking like fire. Yea, I'm on fire. Viola smiled to herself, looking down at her legs and rear. The yoga pants were definitely doing her favors, she drew more than one glance when she passed by and the attention excited her. Always nice to be reminded of your looks hehe.

Her hand fell upon the chain link fence, standing in front of the neighbors place, the same one she went to two nights ago. Sunday went by quick with some shopping, she was out of her home most of the day. But if there was one thing she wouldn't mind for her monday, it would probably be a familiar face.

Whoa, I'm doing this? Hold on now, we're not even sure he's here. Oh wow, my legs are just moving on their own. Don't ring the bell, don't ring the-aahh damn it! She swallowed, finding herself patiently waiting. No response, but a faint noise drew her attention coming from behind the house. She looked around, seeing if anyone was nearby or watching. Do I make like a horror character and investigate?

Sure... I think?
