Going home

"Welp, I better be leaving." stretches Ted, as he puts on his clothes and shoes. A distraught, and rather dishevled Cheryl lies under the sheets in the dark, dank motel room, looking after a departing Ted.

"But ... you came in me ... " mumbles Cheryl.

"Yep, that I did." grins Ted as he laces his shoes.

"I don't even know who you are!" whispers Cheryl, as she begins to cry.

"Shoulda thought of that before hand, before you go around spreading your legs, eh? But don't worry, you were a good lay." grins Ted.

Although not at all important, Cheryl thinks to say, "I thought you were taking me to a gas station?"

"This is as good a place as any," replies Ted, as he begins to walk out the door. "Oh, and take good care of our kid, will ya?" as he closes the door, and disappears forever out of Cheryl's life.

Cheryl calls for a tow truck, which manages to find her car on the highway. Taking a ride back home from the kind tow truck driver, she arrives just in time for her boyfriend's birthday party.

Later that night, Cheryl's boyfriend finds out about Cheryl's infidelity, as they lay naked under the sheets, and he finds that there is no cherry to penetrate. Leaving her in disgust, Cheryl cries herself to sleep. Although it is not as much
crying as she does, when she finds herself pregnant with Ted's child.

Shunned from her family, friends, and her boyfriend ... and furthermore finding herself without a college degree, Cheryl finds that her life is practically ruined.
