Going home

Later that night, inbetween the broadcast of football and the used car commercials, is a news cast about a young woman who was found dead in the desert. It's a mystery how she got out into the desert that far away from her car, and local officials are trying to put together how it all happened.

Although nothing else is known about how she came to arrive there, it is only known that she died to exposure in the desert. Which, would be sort of obvious.

In the end, Cheryl did make it home. Just, not as she would have liked.
