Go with Lacey on a hike

Lacey kind of smiles as you choose to go on a hike with her and Amanda gives you a look sending chills through your body. You and Lacey head off down a trail and you seem to glance in directions of sudden noise fearing a bear was causing it, but it would be either a squirrel or some deer. Lacey had seemed to pull ahead of you in her fast pace movement and with effort you jog up to catch up to her. Resuming a walk besides her, she seems to be avoiding eye contact with you and you decide to break the ice.

“So, is this what you do on your free time?” you asked as you too avoid a low hanging branch, but she doesn’t respond, so you continue you on down the trail.

After a few more feet, several tree trunks litter the trail and the two of you try your best to climb over them. As you too were climbing atop the last trunk, the moss that covered it made it slick and both of you grabbed on to one another as you slipped on it. Falling onto the ground, Lacey was on the bottom and you were on top.

“You ok?” you ask as you examine her body.

“Yeah, you?” asked lacey.

“Yeah I’m alright” you said as you got up and extended both your hands to help her up.

She grasped your hands and with pull you lifted her up onto her feet. She smiled at you making you blush as well as her. Your hands remain entwined as you too exchanged smiles, but both of you looked down and released each others hands. Turning around, you continued down the path which appeared clear. It came to a point where there was two paths; one lead to what appear to be rock formation and the other deeper into the woods.
