Chapter 4
by ldnldn
Where do you go?
Towards the front of the camp and the laundry room
You stealthily sneak towards the entrance of the camp, where the laundry room is. You move from cover to cover, ducking behind bushes, hiding in shrubberies, and crouching under benches. You rather avoid being seen in your sorry state. It is a nerve-wracking trek, but no one manages to spot you.
You reach the cabin where the laundry room is set up. There was no budget for a washing machine, only a drier for some reason. Every day a (un)lucky camper is chosen to wash everyone´s clothes by hand in that dingy building.
You tug at the door. "Locked, of course... Damnit, Sabrina!" The most logical place to find clothes is closed for the time being. Is there anything else you can use nearby? Like a towel, or ...maybe you can cover yourself with the camp's flag? You once saw a model doing something similar in a pinup calendar.
You look up at the flagpole. The flag isn´t there. Instead, you can make out a small, metallic object glimmering under the sun. A key! You can´t wear a key! Where is the flag? Damnit, there goes your genius idea.
That key might open somewhere interesting, however ...like your cabin. It would be a typical Sabrina move to hang it up there. The rope that usually holsters the flag is down. How did Sabrina manage to tape the key at the top of the pole?
Well, you don´t know how she did it, but you know that there is only one way to get it down. The camp doesn´t have a ladder tall enough to reach it, so you´ll have to climb the old fashion way.
Do you go for the key?
