Not wanting to cause too much trouble Sam heads straight outside to the van, passing through the front room where James, Mike and Joe are already setting up the TV for a night of football. As he gets to the van he realises he's the first one there and debates heading back inside, but then Emma emerges.
She's changed into a plain pink shirt and blue jeans, still completely covered up. Sam is about to ask her a question, but she puts a finger to her lips and they wait in silence for a few seconds before Shelly emerges, now dressed in a lovely low cut white dress.
"We ready to go?" Shelly asks with a smile and Emma unlocks the cab, all three of them piling in and Emma starts the engine, driving off.
As soon as the van was part way down the road Shelly spoke. "I think we're far enough away now. We've worked together for five years and I don't know a Monica. Where are we really going?"
Emma didn't answer right away, but instead pulled the van up along the side of the road, out of sight of the house. "Bit of a long story." Emma said, turning to face the two of them and to Sam's surprise unbuttoning her shirt. Sam found his eyes locked on her cleavage as she reached into her bra for her cigarettes once more, before casting a look at Shelly, who for some reason didn't seem surprised at all.
As Sam turned to look back at Emma he found she'd now shed her shirt completely and was working on the buttons of her jeans. Admittedly he'd seen it all already, but Shelly didn't know that and he suddenly began to feel self conscious. Should he leave?
Sam was about to rise from his seat when Emma offered him the cigarette packet.
