Go to the inn.

I head to the inn and order a pint of ale from the tall, handsome woman behind the bar. The only other people in here are a few farmers and a very old man warming his feet by the fire.

I slip the handsome woman a small coin and ask her about the Queen of the Pixies. Her face darkens. "Och, those pixies are dreadful. Since they got that new Queen they think they can do what they like with us. Stealing knickers, unlacing bodices, pulling trousers down and smacking bottoms. Why, just the other day they stripped Celinda the shepherdess naked and rolled her over and over in the mud."

"I heard there's a bounty on the Queen's head."

"Why, so there is. The Queen's said to be a beautiful woman in a silver crown and a dress made out of a single green leaf. She lives somewhere in the Lilac Forest. If you can capture her and bring her back to this inn, all the wealth of the town will be yours."

Not much more to be said to that. I finish my drink and walk out, planning to make my way to the Forest.
