Go to the Bar (Bi Situations Ahead)

You decide that it's time to head out to the bar. You haven't been in any social situation in months and haven't met anyone for the last year and a half outside of Jennifer's circle of friends. You throw on your nicest pair of blue jeans, a white t-shirt with a grey button up buttoned three-quarters up, and an older pair of dress shoes that still looked good, but had a nice aged feel. Finally you topped off your ensemble with a bit of hair gel and some cologne.

You leave the apartment and head down the stairs. Once outside, you get a breath of the fresh yet polluted downtown air. Feeling a rush of excitement running through your veins, you crack a smile for the first time today. Not only are you relieved that you merely overreacted, but you've finally overcome the barrier that's prevented you from socially interacting with the outside world. You hailed a cab and asked him to take you to the most popular bar with people around your own age.

You were taken to Caballo Azul, allegedly the place to be for an avant garde atmosphere and to meet the people to meet. You were checked by the bouncer at the door for an ID and gave him a cover for $10. When you walked in, the first thing you noticed was how massive this club-style bar was. There was a three-tier area. At ground level, you had the bar, a dance floor, and a performance stage. The first and second floors were both loft style, the first having a lot of tables and a restaurant, and the top floor appeared to have another bar and a VIP lounge entrance.

Taking it slow, you decided to stop by the bar on ground level and grab a Mai Tai. You meandered around and took in the music, the people, the smells, and the general atmosphere.
