You decide it would be for the best to go to sleep. Even though it would've been nice to catch up with her a bit more after so long, hitting the sack earlier will probably be better for your chances at integrating into Issai High tomorrow morning. So with a tired farewell to Konomi, you trudge in the direction of the room you've been given, collapsing into the bedsheets before you can even take a better look at where you'll be sleeping for the next year.

It's soft - much softer than your bed at home.

You sink into the bed, your consciousness fading away as the fluffy white pillow embraces you entirely.

You are dreaming.

It is not the mysterious world of velvet that greets you in Morpheus' domain, but a scene of natural beauty that you've never seen outside of pictures. There's a rolling field of grass that seems to stretch on into infinity behind you, and before your eyes is a small stream, clear water trickling past rocks. And before that is a small cave, a craggly opening into a tall mountain that reaches up into the grand white clouds.

It's an amazing sight, but there is something strange about the dream.

You can feel everything with utter clarity.

The scent of the grass, the sound of the water, the warm sunlight against your back ... you can feel it all.

You look down at yourself. You're dressed in the same garb you were wearing before you went to bed.

The material feels too real.

Everything feels real.

You carefully begin to walk forwards, your gaze surveying the area. It doesn't feel like a dream, much like the strange vision of that beautiful velvet world you had during the trip over.

Then you hear something.

It's a soft sound, emanating from the cave.
