When you, Belinda, and Mrs. Anderson get to breakfast, Mr. Anderson and Ethan are already eating. "Greetings, ladies," Mr. Anderson says, "you all look lovely this morning."
Ethan comes over and pulls out your chair for you and gives you quite the winning smile. You sit down and eat your breakfast.
Mr. Anderson says, "Parker, your mother should be home later today. I'm sure you're looking forward to seeing her."
You're not sure how to respond to this, given your decidedly mixed feelings about your mother over most of the last year so you just nod and smile.
The rest of the conversation is quite pleasant and everybody seems quite enraptured with the new you. You find yourself much more engaged in the conversation than you had been previously and thoroughly enjoy yourself.
After breakfast, you, Ethan, and Belinda head out to the car where Molly is waiting to bring you to school.
