Go to Dana's

Cole decided that, given what's happened today, he'd feel much more comfortable just going to an old friend's house. He called Tori and Jackie back and said he wouldn't make it, something came up. Taking his car over to Dana's house, he knew the route better than the one to his house. He had been there so often before he knew it by heart.

Cole parked in the garage and knocked on her door, Dana answered only seconds later.
"Hey, come on in." She said, he walked in and looked around. He had seen the foyer before, but it was still a pleasant sight. He followed her to the living room and they both sat down on the couch. They both started talking about school and such, laughing at each others' inside jokes over some stupid TV show.

Somehow, among these conversations their past relationship came up.
"I don't know why we broke up," Dana said, shrugging as you did as well.
"I think we just had a fight and didn't know how to handle it or something." Cole tried to simplify it to that, and they both agreed they acted childish back then.
"So, now that we don't act like kids, why don't we give it another shot sometime?" Her question probed him, made him think.
"If you really think you can stand being around me anymore than you already do, sure. I wish you the best of luck though." Cole smiled and they both laughed a bit, he was feeling better about himself lately, mostly thanks to a certain book.

Cole looked at the clock and noticed they'd been talking for hours now.
"It's getting late, I should get going." Dana looked at him with a sly smirk.
"Or," She said, standing up to halt him,
"We could have a sleepover like the old days." Cole gave her a peculiar look.
"I thought we didn't act like kids anymore." He countered, Dana rolled her eyes.
"Come on, it's all in good fun right?"
