Go straight in

Defender decided to go straight in. Walking up to the door, she kicked it down using the slight boost in strength that her magic belt granted her. To her surprise, the halls of Nightlord's lair where decorated with Christmas lights, casting a festive glow over the whole place. As Defender moved forward, she dropped her hood so that she could better see around her. Keeping a sharp eye for anyone sneaking up behind her.

She eventually came to a fork in the road. She looked to the left and right and then back the way she came. Again, keeping a sharp eye out Nightlord. As she tried to decide which way she wanted to go, the christmas lights started to twinkle to the left. Defender got the sense that Nightlord was trying to get her attention though whether it was to lead her to him or into a trap was unclear. Perhaps she should go the other way. Or maybe back out the way she came.
