Go out the entrance

Isabel chose to go out the entrance, thinking it was unlikely that anyone else would enter the park at that moment.

She was wrong. Just as she was about to get back on the path, a man jogged into the park. Isabel ducked behind a bench. The man came towards her. It turned out to be one of her neighbors, Warren. He stopped to talk to her.

"Good morning, Isabel," said Warren.

"Good morning to you too," said Isabel, who hoped he'd leave quickly.

"You out for a jog too?"

"Yes."

"Are you alright? Did you fall?" Seeing Isabel in the position she was in, he thought she might have gotten hurt somehow.

"No. I'm fine."

"Let me help you up."

"No no no! I'm, um, just tying my shoe." She got down on one knee and pretended to do that.

"Okay. Then see you around."

"Bye."

Warren jogged away. Isabel waited until he was out of her sight. Then she got up, got on the path, put her hands in front of her crotch and walked to the entrance. She got there without anyone else showing up. Then she was out of the park and standing on the sidewalk, when...
