Go looking for Kass.

It was early afternoon and Theron was getting impatient. He and Kass had never decided on a meeting time, but it was far past the usual time one would be waking up.
He didn't want Kass to think that he didn't trust him, but he was beginning to get worried. Finally reaching the limit of his patience, Theron left The Stag.
He pushed throught the front doors purposfully, and then stopped.
Kass never did tell him where he was staying. Where was he supposed to start looking?
Well, for starters, he ran to the tavern they had been at, and then searched his memory so see which way Kass had turned after stepping through the doors.
After a few moments of thought, Theron decided he had turned left... maybe.
It was better than nothing. Theron took off in the direction he hoped Kass had gone, and began running through the already crowded streets, trying to spot Kass' unusually black hair among the crowd.

He had been running and darting through the streets at random for about 10 minutes, and was beginning to get winded, when he passed an alley and stopped.
Had he seen what he thought he saw?

He stepped back and peered in to the alley, where his suspicions were confirmed. A group of thugs were surrounding someone, knives drawn, probably threatening the poor person for money they barely had.
The thugs comprised a group of about 10, and Theron could hardly see who they were surrounding.
He was worried about Kass, but it was hardly right of him to just leave the poor person to their fate.

Suddenly a sense of dread began to seep in to him.
It could be Kass.

However, he'd be hard pressed to take out 10 men on his own anyway.
He could do it, but he couldn't be sure he could garuntee his own safety and that of whoever they were thratening.

Maybe he should get help, but that might take too long.
Perhaps he should get a closer look, to see who was armed with what, and find the perfect opportunity to get the drop on them.
