"I think I'll sleep outside your room to keep guard," you offer.

"I can't let you do that," Tsunami protests. "You're my guess!"

You frown but in the inside, you're secretly pleased that your door-in-the-face technique is proceeding as expected. Now, to steer the conversation to a less outrageous but more acceptable solution. "But your safety is important to me... I can't sleep in my room knowing that you might be in danger..." You look around. "There's no room nearby, so the idea is a good one."

"How... how about you sleep in my room instead?" Tsunami offers.

You put your hand under your chin... "The idea is better since I'll be nearer and can react faster. I can sleep on the floor. Is it okay with you?"

The widow nods.

The two of you enter the room and while Tsunami sits on her bed, you draw up an elaborate seal near the door slowly, taking ten minutes to do so even though you can do it in less than one minute. After you have finished, you activate it before standing up, rubbing your forehead with the back of your hand with an exaggerated motion.

"What did you just do?"

"I made a security seal."

"It looks difficult."

"It is," You're not lying. It is difficult for someone unskilled but making a sound proof seal is easy for you. "AH! MAN!" you say with a slightly higher voice.

"What's wrong?"

"I forgot my futon." You look at the seal and then at the door. "And to remove and reapply the seal is a hassle..." You shrug before moving to lie down on the barren floor next to the bed. "Oh well, it's not big deal."

"It is... I can't let you sleep like that!" Tsunami says.

"It's okay, I have some experience sleeping in forest." True, you are experienced sleeping in forest but the first thing you learned is not to sleep on the floor. You have been taught to prepare a raised platform on which you will sleep or failing that, it's better to sleep on a tree. Pitching a tent, while not prohibited is discouraged as sleeping with your body on the ground will make you **** to ground-based jutsus. Also, all of those things are moot since you do have your camping equipment with right now, inside a storage seal.

"It would get cold at night!"

"It's okay," you say, knowing very well that it's not okay. But you put your hands beneath your head, pretending that you're making yourself comfortable.

Tsunami chews her lower lips in contemplation. Eventually, she says, "The bed is big enough for the two of us."

"Really?! I don't want to impose or anything since it's my fault I forgot the futon."

"But you're keeping me safe."

You open your mouth and then stop, raising a hand up. "Is it okay for you?"

Tsunami pulled the blanket close to her and nods.

Without further words, you get into the bed next to her, just as you wanted in the first place. Tsunami then shut off the light.
