Chapter 15 by hewhoismany

What do you do now?

Go all the way, but kind of cowardly.

You were almost home when James asked you, “Did...did you really mean what you said back there, Mom?” You knew exactly what he meant, but he clarified anyway. “About wanting Dad to know what we’ve been doing. That you want to ignore him, and just love me.”

His question through your internal questions into overdrive. Feeling put on the spot, you said the first thing to come to your mind. “I did, I really would love that.” Even as you say it again, you know it’s true. You don’t need Harvey, your son was a far better lover, a far better partner. Once inside your home, you press yourself against your darling boy, kissing him deeply before telling him, “Don’t worry about a thing, Momma will take care of it. Now, ready for more fun?”

From there, the day was everything you could have wanted. Sex and sex and sex and sex, all with your wonderful son, and by the time you were ready for bed, your son cuddled up to you, the time came to really plan this out. After all, you had decided to really go through with it.

The thing was though, that conversation was going to be hard. How does one tell their husband they prefer their son to him, and want a divorce? The thing was, you now knew Harvey well enough to know he wouldn’t go against it, not really. He’d get mad, plead and cry, but he wouldn’t try to take James from you. Still, it sounded like a lot to go through, even in your own head.

That was why you said aloud, to no one, “I’ll send James to spend time with his friends for the day, then tell Harvey that it’s over.” That established, you snuck over to where you’d been hiding the ring and used it. The thing was, the body you were in now was asleep, and you continued where the replacement you had been in dreaming.

The next day, it felt odd to be in what was, even if only nominally, your ‘real’ body. All that time as your mother had once again warped your sense of self, and now being so young and so...male, it just didn’t feel right. Neither did spending time with your friends that day. They all seemed so...immature. You couldn’t wait to get home, and find out how things had gone with Harvey.

What are the results?
