Go after Green Thumb

Defender didn't have time go for backup. She'd have to handle Green Thumb herself. Carefully making her way through the pit, she found a what looked like a service entrance. Entering it, she was able to find her way out of the pit and into a network of hallways. Upon finding an exit she discovered that she was in the old abandoned zoo, which had been closed some 5 years ago due to concerns that the animals where being treated inadequately. The exhibits would certainly be inhospitable to any animals now as all of them where overflowing with strange exotic plants.

Defender entered into the safari area of the zoo and found herself in a monsterous jungle with some of the most dangerous looking plants she had seen so far. She carefully picked her way through the plants, doing her best to avoid anything that looked too dangerous. She eventually came to a clearing where she saw Green Thumb examining some of the plants in the clearing.

She hid behind a tree and watched Green Thumb. She couldn't exactly see what he was doing. He appeared to be writing something down on a clip board. As she watched him though, he suddenly stopped what he was doing and turned towards her hidding place. Defender ducked behind the try hoping she hadn't seen her. "You might as well come out Defender. The plants speak to me. They've told me where you are." Defender decided to come out, walking out into the open and standing before the villian. "You don't seem surprised to see me." "I knew you survived. Figured you'd come this way eventually." Defender crossed her arms. "Well here I am. And I hat to tell you this nature boy but now I'm gonna kick your a** and recompence for my cape." The villain snickered and removed his jacket. "If you insist." He said and he unhooked his cuff links.

The heroine took a fighting pose as Green Thumb took a boxing pose. Seems this guy had a idea of how to fight. Defender attacked and found her strike blocked by Green Thumb. Defender get more agressive in her **** but not matter what she tried, Green Thumb blocked her at every turn. Even worse, he appeared to be doing so rather easily. The smile on his face made her realize she was playing with her. Frustrated, she lunged at the villain who was prepared for the heroine and used a subtle move to throw the heroine to the ground. As the heroine rolled over on the ground, Green Thumb stepped away slightly. "This is probably a good time to mention that my DNA has been mixed with some of the strongest plants in the world. Not only am I a strong as a mighty oak, but my vision and reflexes are sharp as well." The heroine got to her feet. Panting from exhaustion. "From what I have been told, you are invulnerable and that invurablity gives you some degree of superhuman strength." The heroine three a punch right at his smug face but he immeditly caught her punch and held it in place. "Though clearly not more than me." He then yanked her fist to the side, snaked his off hand around her waist and pulled the heroine in for a kiss.

The heroine quickly pushed the villain away who let her go as she wiped her lips. "You vile fiend." She said as she blushed. "Just making a point my dear." "And what point is that?" "That you are no match for me. So before we continue, I'm going to give you a chance to surrendor. I'd rather not hurt a flower as beautiful as you." Defender weighed her options. It was very clear that Green Thumb was much stronger than she was but she wouldn't admit that. She couldn't just give up. But then again, it maybe her only choice.
