Dr. Katari pulled out a little light and a tongue depressor from in her coat pocket. "Well, Shad, Supergirl tells me that you exhibited strange abilities, similar to Black Canary's?" You just nod your head, and she readies her popsicle stick. "Very well. Open wide, and say 'Ahhh...'" You do exactly as she says, and she checks inside your throat, lighting the back of it.

"Well? What's up, doc?" Supergirl asked, looking a bit concerned for her lover.

"Unfortunately, I can't see anything wrong; he's certainly not sick." She pulls the depressor off of your tongue, and you close your mouth. Your mind raced with what else the nanites could bestow of you. They do have limits, not being able to give you all of Supergirl's powers, but they do work more efficiently in the sun; where is the line drawn? "Well, when did you first notice the warm throat?" she asked.

"E-Earlier," you said, clearing your throat after. "This woman, Vixen was showing me what her powers could do, and she had me pinned down on the training mat. I told to get off twice, and in the middle, I felt my throat heating up a little, and the next thing I knew...? She was flying backwards and I had Black Canary's Cry." The good doctor wrote down key points of what happened, and said that she'll need to examine you further in the morning.

"Come by the office after lunch, and I'll make an appointment to test this new power of yours." You agreed, and turned to one side to sleep.
