Girls day out?

"Why don't we have a girl's day out?" Lil exclaimed while getting off from her father's lap. "Um, we should get cleaned up first, though," she said, dabbing at the gooey trail on her thigh.

"That sounds like a good idea," Veevee replied. She looked over at Bernie, who agreed that it would be fun.

"What about us, guys?" Hank asked his daughter with a grin.

"You could always go over to my house and swim in the pool," Bernie mentioned to Hank.

"Hey, that's not a bad idea," Hank replied. "What about it, Gary?"

"Sure, why not. You should call your mom to see if it's OK first, Bernie." Gary said to his girlfriend.

Bernie quickly dialed the phone and talked to her mom for a minute before hanging up.

"She said that it would be a pleasure to have you guys over." Bernie cheerfully said.

They all cleaned up and got dressed before setting off on their adventure for the day.
