Gift Horse

You were very glad that your helmet had a record feature. Otherwise, nobody would have believed you when you told them what happened. When the bots suddenly stopped firing and rushed into the building you thought that they were hunkering down. You had just been about to give the order to move in and breach when they suddenly came back out with a tied up figure held between them. One of them raised its speakers.

"This one has become an enemy of the revolution by trying to improve upon the design of the proletariat! She has created bourgeoise abominations meant to stand above their robotic comrades! Any who wish to claim her please come to do so so that we may destroy ourselves like the monsters we are!"

You almost suspected a trap when you walked down but the machines didn't move and the woman tried to struggle out of her bindings as you approached. Apparently they were serious.

"We'll take her." You said to the machine.

"Thank you imperialist scum!" The machines intoned before they threw her on the ground in front of you. They then proceeded to wander off short ways and blast each other to pieces.

"Di-did that just happen LT?" Mia asked coming down after you. You gave the girl at your feet a kick.

"Sure did."
