Getting transportation

"Fine, take it. It's not hard to completely make another one. Kate barked. "And trust me, they can't keep me in the orphanage forever."

'Oh this is delicious. She still thinks she's heading for the orphanage.' Mommy Dearest thought, grinning devilishly.

"Just let me get a car." Mommy whipped out her signature 'crystal ball' hanging by a string, used for hypnotizing her victims.

In shock and unable to step out of the shodows, or risk exposing herself, Kate was **** to watch Mommy Dearest commit an unstoppable crime.

Mommy Dearest began to limp in front of an oncomming car. "Oh, please help, miss. I sprained my ankle, and my kids are home alone."

The middle-aged woman, reluctantly tried to help the fraudulent villain. "Just give me your address so I could..." The woman froze in place, as Mommy Dearest dangled the crystal in front of her eyes.

Unable to hear what is said, Kate did see Mommy Dearest point in her direction. After Mommy Dearest pocketed her weapon, the middle-aged woman walked like a robot over to Kate, and picked her up. Once in the stolen car with Mommy Dearest behind the wheel, and the woman still clutching Kat almost in a vice grip, in the backseat. They drove off.
