Getting settled

A guard grabs you and places a weird electronic collar around your neck, then leads you away to the fields. You mostly see a lot of happy women, working hard but chatting with each other. A few faces stick out, women who look like zombies. All of them are naked except for those collars, and they look to be harvesting a plant similar to corn. The guard takes you over to another **** and leaves you next to her.

"Hi," she says, "I'm Janet. It's been a while since we had a newbie. Just do wha I do and you'll be fine."

You quickly pick up on her technique and are soon working hard. "So, Janet, what's with those zombie girls?"

"Oh, those are girls who tried to run away; as if there's anywhere to go! They're being punished. And there goes another one!" You watch as a girl sprints toward the pad, racing for a pod before she goes down, jerking around like she's been electrocuted. The guards collect her and take her away. "They'll assemble us all at the end of the day to see her punished, as well as any men on the other side of the colony. Just do as you're told, and life can be pleasant." She looks hard at you. "You're not going to cause trouble, are you?"
