Getting Ready

What to wear, what to wear. I guess that depends on where I want to hunt tonight. Rifling through my walk in closet I come across one of the capes my mother made for me hundreds of years ago back on earth when I first became a vampire. Seen as goofy back then capes have come back in style, but that's not what I'm in the mood for.

Ah here's something I haven't worn in a while, a faded jean jacket with white leather fringes on the sleeves. I think I'll wear that. Yeah with a see through white camisole underneath. Well that takes care of the top half. Now onto the bottom half.

Am I in the mood for a skirt? Mini or long, nah. Oh how about leather pants? Leather pants it is. White, black or red? White leather, those will go good with my spiked black leather belt. Maybe a thin spiked black wristband to go with it. On to shoes. Usually I like to wear sandals but not tonight. I go with a cute little pair of black leather ankle boots. Yep it's a denim and leather kind of evening. I tease my hair and put on some hairspray and my makeup then check myself out in my full length holomirror. I look like a member of a hair metal band from the latter part of the 20th century. Motley Crue baby!

An explanation about mirrors. Ancient mirrors had silver backings and therefore vampires like me couldn't see our reflections. Modern mirrors and holomirrors don't use silver so now we can see ourselves.

I make my way downstairs where Rachel is in the kitchen making herself some popcorn. Our kitchen while done in the same medieval style as the rest of the castle has up to date modern appliances and counter tops with an island in the middle for her to prep her meals with.

She turns to look at me so I do a quick spin. "How do I look?" She draws in breath before speaking. "Sexy as always." She on the other hand is completely nude. I so love looking at her.
