Get to higher ground!

Harley frantically searches for a way to get out of her predicament. Sirens cry in the distance, which only work to scare Harley. Without even knowing where she is going, she runs. The villainess is only able to keep up a good pace before running out of breath. She ducks into an alley, trying to get rested. "I guess running is harder with a big hammer strapped to your back." She mutters under her breath, not really talking to any one other than herself. All the while, the sirens still sound in the distance.

"God dammit, Mister J. Why did you leave me?" She whispers, a tear rolling down her face. She wipes it away, smudging her make up. She picks herself up, and looks to the fire escape hanging above. It was obvious that she wasn't tall enough to grab onto the first bar in the ladder without help. She closed the trashcan by her and hops onto it. She hops and grabs the highest bar she could reach, which was the third. Her legs flail as she pulls herself up.

"Hey! What are you doing?!" A voice says from outside of the alley. Harley turns her head to see a police officer.

"I'm trying to get to the roof! What does it look like I'm doing?" She asks not really wanting an answer.

"What the hell are you wearing?" He says, probably not realizing who he was dealing with.

"What are you, the fashion police?" She says in a sarcastic tone that matches her last statement, just as she is able to get a good footing onto the ladder. She wasted no time in scaling the building, the thought of the cop out of her mind.

The roof was barren except for a few puddles. Since the building was tall, it was a great place to think and plan out her next move. The sound of scuffling boots approached, alerting Harley and putting her in fight or flight mode.

Unfortunately for the unknown person, she chose fight. She pulls her hammer from her back and blindly swings when she turns around. The shadow dodges the oversized mallet with ease. She catches her self and goes for a overhead swing. Harley stops herself before the head fell onto the familiar face.
